The Art program at Âé¶¹Íø prepares the next generation of smart, innovative, and conscientious art professionals to become leaders in the local community and, ultimately, the world at large.
Program Highlights
- Major and minor available in Art. Additional minor available in Art History.
- Students choose an emphasis in Art, Art Education or Design.
- ODU's Wehrle Art Gallery functions as a lab for the program. Students curate, design and install exhibitions as well as exhibit their own work.
- Annual Senior Exhibition allows art and design seniors to select, research, produce and exhibit an extensive professional design project.
